You'll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to provide financial insight, strengthen business performance, and support the continued growth of the business.About the RoleReporting to senior leadership, you will oversee the financial management and reporting function while partnering with the broader business to drive strong commercial outcomes.This is more than a reporting role.
You'll be expected to understand the numbers, challenge performance, identify opportunities, and provide practical advice that supports better business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day financial management and reporting functionPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsManage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planningProvide commercial analysis and insights to support business decisionsPartner with operational leaders to monitor costs, margins, and financial performanceDevelop and monitor financial KPIs and provide clear reporting to senior leadershipIdentify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improved financial performanceOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activitiesManage month-end and year-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reportingEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal controlsSupport business planning, investment decisions, and capital expenditure analysisWork with external accountants, auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholdersImprove financial systems, processes, controls,



and reporting capabilityAbout YouYou're a commercially focused finance professional who can move comfortably between detailed financial analysis and high-level business discussions.You'll bring:CA, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualificationSignificant experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or senior accounting roleStrong commercial and financial management experienceProven experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysisStrong understanding of management accounting and financial reportingExperience partnering with operational and senior leadership teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong Excel and financial systems capabilityHigh attention to detail with a practical and commercially focused approachExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearlyExperience in mining, manufacturing, processing, heavy industry, or other operational environments will be highly regarded.Why Join Tasmines?
