You will also have access to a diverse offering of wellbeing and connection initiatives which reflects that people are our priority.Provide Senior laboratory support and assistance to ensure the efficient operation of a busy and modern laboratory conducting assays for research, preclinical and clinical studies in an accredited environment, focusing on the area of Pipette Management.
Contribute to a high-quality team at 360biolabs complying with relevant standards, regulatory guidelines and SOPs.Key Responsibility AreasThe key responsibility areas (KRAs) are the major outputs for which the position is responsible and are not a comprehensive statement of the position activities.General DutiesMaintain the laboratories in an efficient and well-organised mannerOrder and maintain consumable supplies for the laboratories, as requiredReceive goods, reagents: review and complete relevant documentation and store correctly, as requiredAssist with the coordination of reagent and goods shipments, as requiredEnsure laboratory equipment is cleaned, maintained and calibrated, as required according to relevant SOPs and maintenance schedulesRespond and investigate Temperature Monitoring Alarms in a timely manner, as required.Maintain, schedule and update equipment service and calibration records in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)Assist with the procurement of laboratory equipmentInvolvement in out-of-tolerances, deviations and CAPA processesProvide and support process improvementsContribute to risk assessments related to equipment, inventory and processesPipette Management,



Verification and Calibration DutiesSupport the end-to-end process of the In-house Pipette Verification and Calibration ProjectPerform routine checks, cleaning, and maintenance on pipette verification equipment to ensure accuracy and complianceAccurately log calibration results in LIMS or designated system, and prepare reports for review and audit purposesEnsure all pipette verification activities meet NATA and internal quality management requirements.
Monitor and replenish consumables required for verification activities to avoid delaysContribute to drafting and updating SOPs and work instructions related to pipette verification and calibrationIdentify potential issues during verification, conduct basic troubleshooting, and escalate complex issuesProvide regular updates to Lab Support Manager, highlighting risks, delays, or resourcing needsTraining staff members in Laboratory Support, as requiredParticipate in internal and external audits, as requiredData Analysis, Reporting, and Document WorkPrepare, maintain and review policies, SOPs, systems and procedures to assure the quality and integrity of service offerings at 360biolabsMaintain records (LIMS, database and paper) to levels consistent with relevant standards and industry expectationsAccreditationAdhere to ISO/IEC *****, OECD Principles of GLP, GCLP Principles, 360biolabs' Quality Management System, and other requirements as per NATA Accreditation and regulatory guidelines.SafetyEnsure the safe and efficient conduct of laboratory activitiesEnsure compliance to relevant internal processes and statutory requirementsTeamworkCollaborate well in a cross-functional matrix environment; maintain high levels of communication with colleagues and productive relationships with service providers and other partnersMentoring and providing day-to-day guidance to junior lab assistantsWork closely with Quality,



Information Systems and Scientific Operations team resources to facilitate the Equipment Management processProfessional DevelopmentAttend meetings and training associated with the work of 360biolabs.Key Selection CriteriaTertiary education in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience (Essential)Experience / Knowledge / AttributesExperience working in a quality-controlled environment preferably an accredited facility following ISO/IEC *****, GLP, or similar quality systems (Essential)Experience working in a quality-controlled environment preferably an accredited facility following ISO**** or similar standards (Essential)Excellent organisational and time-management skills (Essential)Ability to work as part of a team (Essential)Good communication skills and willingness to learn (Essential)Experience in handling clinical samples etc. (Essential)Experience with use of a Lab Information Management System (LIMS) (Desirable)High motivation and enthusiasm for biomedical research(Desirable)For further information, please contact our Careers Team ((email protected)).
