Australia's clean energy transformation is accelerating and grid connection engineers are leading the charge.
As demand for renewable energy surges, so does the need for talented engineers who can connect new technologies to the grid safely, reliably, and efficiently.That's where you come in.We've created a first-of-its-kind, industry-wide graduate program designed to fast-track your career and immerse you in the most exciting challenges in energy.
Over two years, you'll rotate through four organisations - an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), a National Service Provider (NSP), a Developer, and AEMO - gaining experience across the full spectrum of grid connection engineering.What You'll DoEach rotation offers different on-the-job learning experiences and you will also benefit from a central training program.




Over the two-year program we expect that you will:Collaborate with senior engineers on power system modelling and simulationAnalyse system performance and conduct incident reviews to identify risks and trendsDevelop and maintain software tools to automate technical studiesCreate technical reports and documentation that inform real-world decisionsContribute to cutting-edge projects shaping Australia's energy futureBuild relationships with industry experts and stakeholders across the sectorWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking curious, driven graduates with:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering (graduating before February ****)Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailA passion for learning and applying grid connection technologiesSolid understanding of electrical engineering principlesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsFull working rights in Australia for the duration of the programWe believe diversity drives innovation and encourage individuals of all races, genders, ages, religions, identities, and experiences to apply.For more information visit: AEMO | Grid Connection Engineer Graduate Program Ready to apply?
