The Opportunity
Chandler Macleod is partnering with a major iron ore producer to recruit two experienced SMP/Mechanical Project Supervisors to support a major brownfield project in the Eastern Pilbar.
You'll play a key role supervising site execution for the replacement of the Train Loadout Facility and supporting infrastructure, ensuring safe delivery, schedule adherence, and quality outcomes across SMP/mechanical scopes.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise mechanical/SMP activities across project and shutdown environments
Lead crews and contractors to deliver works safely, efficiently and to standard
Coordinate daily execution plans, permits, isolation/LOTO and work packs
Monitor progress against schedule; resolve constraints and elevate risks early
Maintain solid field leadership and safety culture aligned with site requirements
What You'll Need
Proven mechanical supervision background(ideally5+ yearsin a supervisory role)
Shutdown / major project execution experiencein mining or heavy industry
S26 (DMIRS) qualification – mandatory
Strong safety leadership, contractor management capability, and clear communication
Ability to workon-siteon an8:6 rosterin the Central Pilbara
