Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cellar Door Manager to oversee the daily operations of our winery's tasting room.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record of managing a team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of the tasting room, including staff, inventory, and customer experience
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
Train and supervise tasting room staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized environment
Coordinate with stakeholders adequate inventory levels and timely product releases
Plan and execute special events, including wine tastings, tours, and private events




Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to alcohol sales and service
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role in the wine industry
Solid knowledge of wine production, varietals, and regions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
