About the Service
Located onsite atBirchip P-12 College, this sessional kindergarten is closely connected with the local community and provides a welcoming, collaborative environment for children, families and educators.
WithLong Day Care also operating onsite,
you'll be part of a broader early childhood community and have opportunities to build solid professional relationships across the service.
This is a setting where educators can make a genuine contribution, get to know their children and families well, and see the impact of their work within the community.
About the Role
As a Diploma Educator, you will:
Support the delivery of engaging, high-quality educational programs across 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten
Contribute to curriculum planning, documentation and assessment
Support children's learning, development and wellbeing
Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teachers and the wider community
Contribute to an inclusive, welcoming and engaging learning workplace
Share your ideas, experience and passion for early childhood education
About You
We're looking for an Educator who:
Holds aDiploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Has previous experience working in an early childhood setting beyond student placement
Is confident contributing to programming, documentation and assessment
Builds genuine relationships with children, families and colleagues
Is passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education
Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
Is collaborative, reliable and willing to become part of a regional community
Please note:This position is best suited to educators who have gained practical experience in an early childhood setting outside of student placement experience.
