An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established and growing construction organisation.
Working within a high-performing finance team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function while supporting the delivery of key projects across the business.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with suppliers, project teams, and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing high-volume supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Managing end-to-end accounts payable functions
Matching purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation
Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Responding to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
Maintaining accurate vendor records and account information
Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
Supporting project managers and operations teams with financial administration requirements
Ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls
What you'll need to succeed
Previous accounts payable experience,
ideally within construction, engineering, property, or a project-based environment
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment
