Blue Sky Nursery is a busy wholesale nursery supplying both the landscape and retail markets based in North Arm on the Sunshine Coast.
We require aNursery Sales Assistant.
TheNursery Sales Assistantrole is full time and based on a 38 hour week with a 3 month probationary period.
Hours are Monday 6.30 till *****, Tuesday to Friday 6.30 till 3.10.
TheNursery Sales Assistantposition will require an applicant withexcellent plant knowledge,customer service experience, excellent phone skills, a solid working knowledge of MYOB, EXCEL and WORD.
Previous nursery experience or Horticultural Certification is essential.
Key position requirements:
Customer service, processing stock enquiries, quotations, sales and orders in MYOB
A good knowledge of general nursery plant speciesgrown within industry
Sourcing plants for projects/grow ons
Participation at trade events and EXPOS
The ability to work as part of a dynamic team or individually
The ability to follow direction
The ability to multi task and work under pressure when required
The ability to work to deadlines
Liaising with Sales/Logistics Manager, Dispatch staff, Truck Drivers & Production staff
Wages will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on the qualifications and/or experience.
Applicants for this position must have their own transport.
