Competitive salary of $154,231 to $178,369 pa, plus super and leave loading
About the role
Lead and develop the implementation of the commissioning process, between the Delivery project and Asset Management teams, to meet the requirements of the internal stakeholders across NSW.
The Senior Manager Commissioning plays a pivotal role within School Infrastructure's Delivery Commissioning team, overseeing the final stages of School Infrastructure projects to ensure they meet quality, safety, and operational standards in preparation for operational readiness and handover.
This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing commissioning and handover schedules, and ensuring that all infrastructure is fully functional and compliant with departmental requirements.
The team works collaboratively to deliver fit-for-purpose educational environments that support teaching and learning across NSW public schools.

About you
Oversee the final stages of delivery projects to ensure they meet quality, safety, and operational standards before handover.
Manage safety, risks, issues and escalations in commissioning
Solve complex commissioning problems with diverse stakeholders
Stay organised, agile and resilient in a constantly changing environment
Knowledge of, and experience in,
the construction of major infrastructure projects, such as schools.
Knowledge of, and the ability to implement, School Infrastructure design standards, statutory requirements and contractual obligations.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
Current general construction card (White card), or attainment of one within a reasonable timeframe.
Current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance for paid employment.
Current driver's licence.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education .
