The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join a respected builder and play a key role in the commercial delivery of a high-profile project in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established builder and work on a standout project through to completion.
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of the project, including contract administration, procurement, cost control and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage contract administration across the project lifecycle
Procure and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements
Administer variations, progress claims, EOTs and subcontractor packages
Monitor project costs, forecasts and financial reporting
Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to resolve commercial and contractual issues
Assist with procurement and subcontractor management
Identify and manage commercial risks
Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
Ensure compliance with company systems, standards and contractual obligations
About You
Experience in construction contract administration
Experience working for a reputable head contractor
Experience across residential, high-rise or mixed-use projects will be highly regarded
Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, variations and cost management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly organised, proactive and commercially minded
Confident working closely with Project Managers and site teams
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
