Diggers & Drills Support (DDS)
team and play a key role supporting CAT® drills and mining excavators across Western Australia.
The DDS team is a dedicated product support division that provides aftermarket support to the growing population of Cat® Drills and Hydraulic Mining Shovels across WA.
Through our regional branch network, site support technicians and product specialists, we deliver specialised hands-on technical support, maintenance expertise and breakdown response to help customers maximise equipment performance and uptime.
Reporting to the Supervisor, you'll work across a range of customer sites supporting maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting activities on CAT® drills and excavators.
This is a hands-on role suited to a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic who enjoys working both autonomously and as part of a close-knit field service team.
What You'll Do
Perform maintenance, repairs and fault finding on CAT® drills and excavators
Support planned maintenance, shutdowns and breakdown response activities
Assemble and commission new equipment including CAT® MD**** and MD**** drills, and ********* excavators
Deliver safe, high-quality workmanship while meeting customer expectations
Work collaboratively with site-based and regional support teams to maximise equipment availability




Build strong customer relationships through professional service and technical support
About You
Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology)
2+ Mining industry experience working on CAT drills, CAT excavators and/or large mobile CAT mining equipment
Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
Ability to work independently in a field service environment while contributing to team outcomes
Customer-focused attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving
Working at Heights, Forklift and/or Telehandler tickets highly regarded
