About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Industrial Relations Manager to lead the industrial relations function across Australia.
Reporting to the National Manager - HR, this role provides strategic industrial relations leadership, supports business performance and ensures compliance across a diverse national workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RSGx's national industrial relations strategy and framework.
Provide expert advice to leaders on industrial and employee relations matters.
Lead enterprise bargaining negotiations and management of Enterprise Agreements.
Manage union relationships and industrial disputes.
Represent the business in Fair Work Commission and industrial proceedings.
Ensure compliance with workplace legislation, awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Support organisational change, workforce restructuring and business initiatives.
Monitor industrial relations trends, risks and legislative changes.
Develop leadership capability through IR and ER training and coaching.
Extensive experience in a senior Industrial Relations or Employee Relations leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Australian industrial relations legislation and Fair Work frameworks.
Demonstrated enterprise bargaining and union negotiation experience.
Proven ability to manage complex industrial disputes and employee relations matters.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
Experience operating across multiple sites, projects or jurisdictions.
Ability to develop practical, commercially focused industrial relations strategies.
Tertiary qualification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business or Law.
Experience within construction, infrastructure, resources, energy or maintenance sectors.
Experience representing organisations before the Fair Work Commission.
Knowledge of FIFO, labour hire and project-based workforce environments.
