Melrina is looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our Sydney cold storage team.

This is a hands-on role working in chilled and freezer environments, helping keep stock moving safely and orders ready for dispatch.

nAbout the role n

Your responsibilities will include:
n

n
Operating forklifts to move, store and retrieve stock within our cold storage warehouse.
n
n
Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
n
n
Picking and preparing orders, checking products and quantities against paperwork.
n
n
Maintaining stock rotation and assisting with stocktakes.
n
n
Completing daily forklift pre-start checks and reporting faults or damage.
n
n
Keeping work areas tidy, accessways clear and stock stored securely.
n
n
Following site safety,



food handling and hygiene procedures.

nAbout you n
n
We're looking for someone who has:
n
n
n
n
A current LF forklift licence and practical forklift operating experience.
n
n
Previous experience in cold storage, warehousing or food distribution.
n
n
Confidence working in chilled and freezer environments.
n
n
Good attention to detail and clear communication skills.
n
n
A reliable approach to attendance and a willingness to help the team.
n
n
A robust focus on safety, particularly around pedestrians, racking and other mobile plant.
n
n
n
n
Reach truck experience will be highly regarded.
