Property Underwriter
to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an underwriting professional who enjoys balancing technical risk assessment with commercial decision-making and building strong relationships with brokers. You'll be joining an established team where your technical expertise will be valued, while having the opportunity to make a real impact across a diverse portfolio.
The Opportunity n
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of Strata Property risks across new business and renewals, working closely with brokers to develop tailored insurance solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Underwriting current business and renewals across a diverse Property portfolio
n
Assessing risk exposures, pricing, terms, conditions and coverage
n
Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and key stakeholders
n
Identifying and pursuing quality new business opportunities
n
Managing portfolio performance and ensuring underwriting decisions align with appetite and guidelines
n
Negotiating terms and conditions with brokers and other stakeholders
n
Monitoring portfolio trends, profitability and emerging risks
n
Collaborating with claims, risk and other internal teams to deliver strong client outcomes
n
Contributing to portfolio strategy, process improvements and broader business initiatives
n
About You n
We're looking for an experienced
Property Underwriter
who combines strong technical capability with a commercial and relationship-focused approach.
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
Previous experience underwriting
Commercial Property
risks
n
Robust knowledge of Property products, risk assessment, pricing and policy coverage
n
Proven ability to manage broker relationships and develop new business
n
Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
n
A proactive approach to portfolio management and business development
n
The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team
n
Relevant insurance qualifications such as
ANZIIF or CIP
will be highly regarded
n
