About the Role
n
n
We are seeking a reliable and qualified Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to provide high-quality in-home aged care under the clinical supervision of a Registered Nurse.
n
n
This role involves delivering safe personal care, supporting daily living activities, observing changes in client condition, and contributing to meaningful engagement in each client's day.
n
n
This is a hands-on, accountable role within a structured and clinically supported environment.
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
n
Deliver personal care in accordance with documented care plans
n
Monitor and report changes in client condition
n
Work strictly within scope of practice
n
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
n
Support clients' independence and participation in meaningful daily activities
n
Follow escalation pathways and RN direction
n
Maintain professional standards in clients' homes
n
n
n
Service & Shift Requirements
n
n
n
WRHH operates as a 24-hour nursing-supported service.
n
Applicants must be available to work across a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and night shifts, as operationally required.
n
Shift allocation is based on service needs and cannot be guaranteed as fixed permanent time blocks.
n
Reliable and consistent availability is essential.
n

Mandatory Qualifications
n
n
n
Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care) or equivalent
n
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
n
Legal entitlement to work in Australia
n
n
n
Skills & Attributes
n
n
n
Ability to work independently within clients' homes
n
Strong observational and communication skills
n
Emotional maturity and professional boundaries
n
Commitment to working within clinical governance structures
n
Confidence using digital systems for documentation
n
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
n

Physical Requirements
n

Capacity to safely perform mobility assistance and manual handling tasks
n
Ability to undertake personal care duties
n
Physical stamina for standing, bending, and assisting clients
n
