Nash Lineboring, part of Nash Engineering, is looking for an experienced
Lineborer
to join our team in a full-time and or casual basis, in office/mobile role based in
Perth, WA
.

We provide mobile field services across Western Australia and operate a fully equipped workshop in Perth. Our work covers repairs and maintenance on mining and earthmoving equipment, from precision bore machining to component rebuilds.
The work n
You'll set up and operate portable lineboring equipment, machine bores from
40 mm to 750 mm
, and help deliver accurate repairs in demanding site conditions. Depending on the job, you'll also carry out gantry milling, ID and OD welding, facing, drilling and tapping, bush removal and installation, and component disassembly and assembly.

You'll read drawings, check measurements and tolerances, maintain your equipment, complete job reports,



and work closely with the crew to get each job done safely and to specification.
What you'll bring n
n
Hands-on line boring, fitting or machining experience on heavy equipment
n
Confidence setting up portable machinery and working to tight tolerances
n
Welding and bush installation experience
n
The ability to read technical drawings and solve problems on site
n
A strong commitment to safety, housekeeping and quality workmanship
n
A relevant mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience
n
A valid driver's licence and the ability to meet site medical and induction requirements
n
