Job Description
Studio Rubikon is a Melbourne fabrication and installation studio. We build visual merchandising, retail activations, large-format installs and experiential builds for some of the biggest luxury and lifestyle brands around. Every job is bespoke, deadlines are real, and no two weeks look the same.

We're after a hands-on all-rounder to join the floor team.
Who you are n
Advanced in at least one applied art or trade: set building, scenic art, joinery, upholstery, props, sign-writing, sculpture, costume, shopfitting, or similar
n
Comfortable jumping across materials: paint and finishes, textiles and fabric, timber, and happy to get stuck into metal, acrylic and resin as you go
n
Someone who works it out with their hands. You see a drawing or a sample and start thinking about how to make it
n
Great attitude. You back your team, take pride in the finish, and don't flinch when the brief changes
n
Keen to learn.

What you'll do n
n
Fabricate, finish and assemble custom pieces in our Tottenham workshop
n
Work across multiple projects at once, from one-off props to full retail builds
n
Help with on-site installs around Melbourne (and occasionally further afield)
n
Keep the workshop safe, tidy and running
n
Nice to have n
n
Driver's licence
n
Fork licence
n
Experience with power tools and workshop machinery
n
