Genus Infrastructure (NSW), in partnership with Acciona, is delivering 237 km of new 500 kV transmission lines between Bannaby and Wondalga as part of a $1.4 billion joint venture. This work strengthens the grid, supports Snowy 2.0, and unlocks renewable energy across NSW.

With construction underway and completion expected between *********, this project will create 1,600 jobs, invest $2 million into local communities, and leave a lasting legacy for the state.

THE OPPORTUNITY: TRANSMISSION LINESPEOPLE n
We're building a high‐performing Transmission Lines team for HumeLink East — and we're looking for skilled, safety‐driven Lineworkers who want stable work, major‐project experience, and the chance to contribute to critical national infrastructure.
In This Role, You Will n
n
Construct and maintain high‐voltage transmission assets
n




Work to Genus and client standards, procedures, and safety protocols
n
Participate in hazard identification, incident reporting, and safe‐work practices
n
Support both routine and emergency response activities
n
Contribute to a robust, positive, safety‐first team culture
n
n
This is hands‐on, meaningful work that keeps the lights on for millions of Australians.
What You'll Bring n
We're seeking experienced Transmission Lineworkers with:
n
n
UET***** Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead
n
High Risk Work Licence (WP)
n
Advanced & Intermediate Rigging
n
EWP & Tower Rescue competency
n
MR licence (HR preferred or willingness to upgrade)
n
Proven experience on transmission networks
n
Strong teamwork, communication, and safety focus
n
Good understanding of PSSR / CPR-LVR
n
PRE‐EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Successful Applicants Will Complete n

Full pre‐employment medical
n
Drug & alcohol screening
n
National police clearance
n
