Underground Maintenance Technician
n
We currently have a great career opportunity for an experienced Underground Maintenance Technicianto join our team at Rosebery in Tasmania. These positions will report into the Supervisor - Mine Maintenance and offered on a 7:7 roster including night shift.
n
Key Accountabilities
n
n
Conduct activities in line with the weekly maintenance schedules in order to achieve a baseline compliance
n
Through the process of conducting maintenance activities, identify opportunities to improve site-wide reliability of mobile and fixed assets
n
Support and improve the reliability and availability of mobile and fixed plant assets by participating in programs to identify root cause of failures and the implementation of improvements.
n
Assist in the development of requirements and specifications for work plans and schedules.
n
Fostering a culture of safe work practices and good housekeeping
n
n
Qualifications & Competencies
n
n
Trade qualified heavy diesel fitter/mechanic
n
To be successful, you will have an unwavering commitment to safe work practices, a team player with a strong motivation and passion to be part of our mining family at Rosebery.
n
Experience in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment according to OEM specifications
n
Experiencein the service and maintenance ofAD60 & 55B trucks, R**** loaders, Sandvik Jumbos and Cable bolter, Atlas Copco Simba and Cable Tec
n
A current driver'slicense.
n
Competency working with computers and Microsoft Office.
n
n
