nAbout the Role n
n
At AES Canberra, part of the Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) network, you'll work at the forefront of emergency medicine, delivering life‐saving care when it matters most.
n
n
This role is ideal for a highly skilled ECC nurse looking for greater impact and autonomy or an experienced GP nurse seeking to transition to ECC.
n
n
n
n
Hands on triage, pathology, radiography, treatments, surgery, and patient care
n
n
Critical care nursing, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent patient care
n
n
Roster designed to support nurse wellbeing, learning & development, mentoring
n
n
Varied and high‐acuity cases, from trauma and ticks to GDVs, snake bites and more
n
n
n
nAbout You n
n
n
n
2+ years clinical experience (ECC highly regarded but not essential)
n
n
Flexibility to work a mix of nights, overnights, weekends and holidays
n
n
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
n
n
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
n
n
You bring a growth mindset, love learning new skills and best‐practice methods
n
n
Committed to providing quality care within an open hospital model
n
n
Be part of an on‐call roster, picking up one shift a month
n
n
