Connected Well is a medical support services organisation, supporting General Practice (primary health care) in Canowindra. Our main client is a popular rural GP who delivers pro-active, carefully-planned care of patients with chronic conditions. From November ****, we will be working towards supporting a new acute-only clinic that complements our GP's focus on chronic care.

We are a small team looking for an additional staff member to share reception and patient-journey tasks. We are happy to provide full training to the right person. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, organised and willing to learn.

It is a full time position based on a fortnightly roster, with an immediate start. We are open to offering a permanent part-time position for the right candidate.

Experience with computers and fluent typing
n
Highly Regarded
n
Experience of working remotely as part of a team using instant messaging and email
n
Medical reception experience highly regarded but not essential
n
CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
Qualifications & experience
n
Proven ability to problem-solve and multitask, with great organisational skills
n
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and retain information
n
Ability to confidently work autonomously but cooperatively
n
Willing to try new ways of doing things in the pursuit of better outcomes
n
Able to engage the public in a bright, friendly manner
n
Tasks & responsibilities
n
Negotiate with patients on behalf of the GP
n
Manage patient interactions and expectations
n
Reception on clinic days
n
Phone reception sessions
n
Manage incoming and outgoing communications
n
Be responsible for engaging with the 'journey' of a sub-set of patients, including recalls and reminders
n
Liaise with the practices of other Health Professionals and other medical industry organisations
n
Learn the sections of the Medical Benefits Schedule which apply to General Practice
n
Pre & post clinic setup & pack up on clinic days
n
You will be paid as a Support Services Level 2 under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award (MA ) with the view of moving to a Level 3 after a 3-month probation period has been completed. *Experienced applicants may be offered a higher starting level
