Stablehand

Duties include but are not limited to:
n
n
Prepare and strap horses for trackwork, trials and races
n
Feed, groom and follow all reasonable instruction to promote, maintain and improve the quality of horse management and training of racehorses
n
Report to Trainer or Foreperson all elements of horse's performance
n
Any other basic stable duties
n

Requirements:
n
n
Stablehand:
must have 1+ year horse handling experience and be familiar with stable duties
n
Sr Stablehand:
Must have 3+ years of racing secure experience, in a similar role
n
Must hold valid driving license and have reliable transport
n
n
Compensation and Benefits:
n
n
Salary DOE significantly above Award,
with 1- and 3-year longevity increases
n
Stablehand:
$***** - $***** / hr. (Target Annual Compensation in excess of $80,000)
n
Sr. Stablehand:
$***** - $***** / hr. (Target Annual Compensation in excess of $95,000)
n
