About You n
As a
Diverse Learning Coordinator
, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 1-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full time and permanent. You'll bring:
n
n
expertise in Diverse Learning Needs, with additional teaching areas advantageous
n
engaging, rigorous, planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
n
the ability and experience in developing individual learning plans that include learning adjustments,
post-school support, enrolment in discrete or life skill courses, special provisions and work placement
n
a highly collaborative approach and ability to build the collective and individual capacity of the Diverse Learning Support team
n
experience with programming and assessment design, reporting and feedback
n
data and evidence-based approaches to foster school improvement
n
exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies
n
proven ability to differentiate instruction, cater for the diverse needs of learners and personalise learning for students from Year 7 to Year 12
n
formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
n
a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
n
ability to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
n
excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
n
strong classroom management and student well-being focus
n
ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
n
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
n
secondary education experience and qualifications in Diverse Learning Support
n
Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
n
