Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring profitable operations of the retail store. They oversee staff, inventory, sales strategies, and operational policies and procedures to create a positive shopping experience for customers while achieving business goals.

Responsibilities:

Hire, train, and supervise store staff
n
Develop and implement sales strategies
n
Monitor and manage store inventory levels
n
Create and implement store policies and procedures
n
Provide excellent customer service
n
Manage store displays and merchandising
n
Maintain the store premises
n
Analyze sales and other performance metrics
n
Provide reports to management
n
Reconcile sales and handle cash
n
Ensure staff adherence to company policies and standards
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
Bachelor's degree in business administration,



retail management or a related field
n
At least 3 years of experience in retail store management
n
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task
n
Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
n
Strong customer-service orientation
n
Computer literacy and familiarity with retail technology
n
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
n
Good financial acumen with experience in cash handling and reconciliation
n
Availability to work flexible schedule when needed
n
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the retail industry.
