The Opportunity n
As an HV Electrician, you will work on-site at Curragh North, supporting the electrical maintenance and reliability of Komatsu equipment within a mining environment.
n
This is a gate-to-gate position, giving you the opportunity to work directly alongside the customer and play an important role in maintaining equipment safely and reliably.
n
You will use your electrical and high voltage experience to diagnose faults, complete maintenance activities and support the ongoing performance of Komatsu equipment on site.
n

Key Responsibilities n
n
Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on Komatsu equipment
n
Diagnose electrical and high voltage faults and identify practical solutions
n
Work safely and effectively within the Curragh North customer site environment
n
Complete inspections, testing and maintenance activities to required standards
n
Maintain accurate job documentation and records
n
Work closely with customer and Komatsu teams to support equipment reliability
n
Identify and escalation equipment or work-related issues where required
n
Maintain high standards of safety and comply with Komatsu Golden Rules and site requirements
n
Continue developing technical capability through Komatsu training and development
n
n
Roster: 7:7 Roster – 12.5 hour days
n Annualised Wages: Highly competitive annualised salary + super + meals & accommodation
n (Additional to the above,



is a $200 per week resident allowance for employee's located/residing in the Emerald)
n Role Located: Site based at Curragh North – this is a gate-to-gate position
What we are looking for n
n
Certificate III in Electrotechnology – essential
n
Electrical trade qualification with high voltage experience
n
Experience working in mining, heavy industry or a similar environment
n
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic capability
n
Experience working with high voltage electrical systems
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Ability to work effectively within a customer site environment
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills
n
Strong attention to detail and accurate job documentation
n A willingness to learn and develop your knowledge of Komatsu equipment
n
