About the Role
Join a hands‐on team that keeps our equipment ready for action.
As a Yard Operator, you'll prepare, organise and maintain rental equipment, operate machinery, and help keep operations running smoothly.
With a mix of equipment handling, customer interaction and yard activities, no two days are the same.
What You'll Be Doing
Inspecting and preparing rental equipment for customer collection and return.
Cleaning, testing and staging equipment to company standards.
Safely loading and unloading equipment using forklifts and material handling equipment.
Organising equipment and yard storage areas to maximise efficiency and accessibility.
Conducting routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Assisting customers during equipment pick‐up and return.
Supporting workshop, transport and branch operations as required.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard and work environment.
Contributing to a strong safety culture and positive team environment.
What We're Looking For
Experience in equipment hire, construction, transport, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or a similar industry.
A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.




Forklift operating experience and a current LF Licence (preferred).
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
The ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced team environment.
Good communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn.
