The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchenhand to join our team at Adelaide Airport.
This role combines the responsibilities of both a Sandwich Hand and a Kitchenhand, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.
You'll be crafting an array of fresh sandwiches while also supporting broader kitchen operations - ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the back of house.

What you will do?
Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes,



utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals
Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment, showcasing excellent food presentation skills
More about you
Previous experience in a sandwich hand or kitchenhand
Food Safety Certificate
Passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
