About the Role n
We're seeking reliable, hard-working Builder's Labourers to join our team on a project in Urangan, Hervey Bay. You'll support our tradespeople and site supervisor with a variety of general construction tasks and help keep the site protected, tidy and productive. It's a great opportunity for someone wanting steady work over the next 2–3 months with a friendly team.
Key Duties n
n
Assist carpenters and steel framers with
timber and metal framing
(carrying, cutting, measuring, positioning and fixing materials)
n
Carry out
concrete patching
and repairs, including surface prep, mixing and applying patching compounds
n
Perform site clean-ups as required, including removing rubbish, sorting materials and keeping access ways clear
n
Load, unload and move materials and tools around the site
n
Assist with general site preparation and set-up
n
Help with other general labouring tasks as directed by the supervisor
n




Follow all site safety procedures and use PPE at all times
n
About You n
Essential:
n
n
Current
White Card
(General Construction Induction), Queensland-recognised
n
Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour outdoors
n
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
n
Strong commitment to safe work practices
n
Reliable transport to and from site
n
Desirable (not essential): n
n
Previous experience as a builder's labourer or in construction
n
Experience with timber or steel framing
n
Basic knowledge of concrete repair work
n
Own basic hand tools
n
Current driver's lisence
n

Work Details n

Hours: Monday to Friday, standard site hours (e.g. 6:30am–3:00pm)

Start date: Immediate / ASAP
n
PPE: Steel-capped boots, hi-vis and safety gear required (please confirm what you'll supply)
