Youth Justice Worker - relocate to Malmsbury n

Malmsbury Youth Justice Precinct has reopened and right now, we're offering a $10K relocation allowance for candidates who move to within an hour's drive of our facility close to the picturesque town centre.
n
As a youth justice worker, you will guide young people in custody through rehabilitation by modelling positive behaviour and engaging them in programs to build life and work skills.
n
This is a frontline custodial role in a youth detention facility where you will also promote
important security procedures
.
n
Your work will help young people get their lives back on track by:
n
maintaining
safety and security
n
establishing
healthy routines
n
setting explicit boundaries
and
redirecting challenging behaviour
n
responding to incidents
n
helping them develop
positive relationships
n
facilitating support
from health and mental health providers.
n

8 weeks of fully paid training

a rotating fortnightly roster where you will work no more than 3 days in a row
