Protected Edge Guard Rail is a commercial temporary Guard Rail installation company operating for over six years specialising in providing temporary safety rail across both domestic and commercial sites in Victoria.

A new position has arisen seeking a leading hand installer to run a team of 2-3. We are looking for someone with someone with experience in the industry.
Minimum of 1 year experience in the Guard Rail Industry

Qualifications & experience n
n
We are seeking a leading hand installer, someone who has experience in the edge protection industry and has what it takes to run a crew. This is not a standard labouring job. This position is for someone with know how and experience.
n
Minimum 1 year experience with guard rail, scaffolding, working at heights or trades is essential.
n
Construction white card
n
Working with children's check
n
Over 11 m boom ticket (or willing to obtain)
n
Current Australian Drivers Licence
n
To be reliable, punctual and work well in a small team
n
Seeking a professional and safety focussed mindset
n
Physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
n
Working at Heights training is favourable
n
Tasks & responsibilities n
n
Completing multiple installations and dismantles of temporary roof edge protection on a daily basis
n
Carrying out audit reports for each job
n
Safely handle and transport rail materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site
n

Truck supplied - no costs for the truck

Materials and power tools supplied

Full time hours, Monday to Friday. Typically 8-9 hour days.

Ability to travel around Victoria to different job sites and see new places
