Secondary Chemistry/Physics Teacher
to join our Secondary School team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach students across Years 7-12, including senior secondary

About the Role n
Reporting to the
Head of Science
, you will:
n
n
Teach Science across Years 7-10.
n
Deliver engaging and rigorous ATAR Chemistry and Physics programs.
n
Prepare students for academic success, external assessments and post-school pathways.
n
Develop and implement practical laboratory investigations.
n
Use contemporary teaching practices to maximise student engagement and achievement.
n
Analyse student data to inform teaching and improve outcomes.
n
Contribute to curriculum development, moderation and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Support student wellbeing through positive relationships and restorative practices.
n
Participate actively in the broader life of the College, including events, professional learning and community activities.
n
About You n

A passion for Science education and student learning.

The ability to teach
ATAR Chemistry and ATAR Physics
.
n
Strong curriculum knowledge and understanding of SCSA requirements.
n
Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
n

Effective communication and collaboration skills.
n
A commitment to ongoing professional growth and excellence in teaching.

Support for the Christian ethos and values of the College.

Essential Requirements n
n
Bachelor of Education with a major in Chemistry, Physics or Science Education, or an equivalent scientific qualification with a recognised teaching qualification.
n
Current Teacher Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia.
n
Current Working with Children Check.
n
Demonstrated ability to teach Secondary Science and senior ATAR Chemistry and Physics.
n
Knowledge of SCSA curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements.
n
Ability to meet all child safeguarding and professional obligations.
n
Desirable n
n
A personal Christian faith.
n
Experience achieving robust ATAR outcomes.
n
Experience preparing students for WACE examinations.
n
Experience teaching General Science and working within collaborative professional learning teams.
n
n
