Based from our Box Hill office, on the lands of the Wurundjeri People + WFH Tuesdays

$***** - $***** per hour + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

We're looking for a
Psychosocial Support Worker
to deliver practical, outcome-focused mental health support as part of the Partners in Wellbeing (PIW) program.
n
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with clients to help them navigate challenges, build independence, and achieve meaningful progress.
n
In this role, you will:
n
n
Work directly with clients (16+)
to identify challenges, set goals, and make clear progress
n
Deliver flexible support
through a mix of Telehealth and onsite sessions
n
Provide practical assistance
connecting clients to services including housing, NDIS, and dual-diagnosis pathways
n
Develop action plans
using a strengths-based, recovery approach with clear outcomes
n
Collaborate with mental health services
to manage risk and support wellbeing
n
Apply key frameworks
including MARAM, FVISS and CISS where required
n
Build strong working relationships
with carers, peers and community networks
n
n
Please note:
This role is not NDIS-focused – you'll be supporting clients through community and clinical mental health systems.
n
Who we're looking for
n You're someone who enjoys working
directly with people
, solving problems, and helping others move forward during challenging times.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Experience supporting clients with
complex psychosocial or mental health needs
n
Background in
mental health and/or AOD services
n
Understanding of the
Social Model of Health
n
Experience working with frameworks such as
MARAM, FVISS and CISS
n
Confidence working with
complex, dual-diagnosis or hard-to-reach clients
n
Ability to
work independently, manage your time, and make sound decisions
n
Strong communication skills across
written, verbal and digital platforms
n
A commitment to
continuous learning, feedback and improving practice
n
Qualifications
n
n
Diploma-level qualification in mental health, community services or related field
n
