LIVESTOCK AND HERD TESTING SERVICES TECHNICIAN n
National Herd Improvement Co-op Limited is a leading provider of Herd Improvement Services with branches across Victoria and South Australia. This is a casual position with the possibility of becoming full time, based at our Maffra office.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Provide herd testing, calf de-budding and freeze branding services
n
Set up herd testing equipment in dairies
n
Liaise with farmers to obtain herd data
n
Work early mornings and late afternoons
n
Work independently in the field without immediate supervision
n
n
About you
n
n
Good people and computer skills
n
Able to think quickly and concisely
n
Able to work in a friendly and supportive team environment
n
Able to work without immediate supervision out in the field on their own
n
Valuable knowledge of the dairy industry is favourable but not compulsory
n
