ByDesign Dental is a brand-new, modern dental practice opening in the heart of Mona Vale.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our small team and help us create an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a practice from the very beginning and play an important role in shaping our culture, systems and patient experience.

This is a varied role incorporating both chairside dental assisting and reception responsibilities.
Your responsibilities will include: n
Chairside assisting across general, cosmetic and implant dentistry
n
Preparing surgeries and maintaining excellent infection control standards
n
Sterilisation and surgery turnover
n
Patient preparation and post-operative care
n
Taking dental radiographs where appropriately trained and authorised
n
Reception and front-desk duties
n
Greeting and welcoming patients
n
Answering phones and managing patient enquiries
n
Appointment scheduling and confirmations
n
Processing payments and health fund claims
n
Maintaining accurate patient records
n
Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
n
Helping create a warm, calm and personalised patient experience
We are looking for someone who: n
Is confident and comfortable assisting chairside
n
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Is warm, friendly and genuinely enjoys looking after patients
n
Takes pride in their work and presentation
n
Has strong attention to detail
n
Is organised, reliable and proactive
n
Works well within a small team
n
Is comfortable working in both a clinical and reception setting
n
Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
n
Experience with implant dentistry, Invisalign or cosmetic dentistry would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
