We have an exciting chance for a motivated nurse to join our team at Bacchus Marsh Medical Centre, Maddingley Medical Centre and Darley Medical Centre.
n
Previous experience in General Practice as a practice nurse and also experience in doing care plans and health assessments is desirable.
n
Previous experience with Best Practice software is also desirable.
n
There will be variety in the role including the following:
n
n
Recalls and stock controls including vaccines
n
Vaccinations and childhood immunisation
n
Wound management and plastering
n
Care Plans, Health Assessments
n
Clinical support
n
Patient history enhancement
n
Participation in accreditation
n
Infection control
n
ECG, Spirometry, Cryotherapy and Ear Suction
n
Aged care
n




Current AHPRA registration
n
Current medical indemnity insurance
n
Current Australian driver's license and willingness to use own car when required
n
Ability to deliver quality clinical care with a positive patient care focus
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Demonstrate confidentiality with patient and clinical information
n
Ability to multi task
n
n
The position will be permanent part-time, 4 days per week, plus alternate Saturday mornings, non-negotiable.
n
Monday to Friday hours vary between 8:30am - 5pm and 9am - 5:30pm. Saturday hours are 9am - 1pm.
