Job Title:
APS6 Senior Compliance & Investigations Officer | Regulatory
n Lead complex compliance reviews and investigations within a major Australian Government regulatory environment, applying risk-based analysis to financial information, identifying non-compliance and supporting high-quality regulatory outcomes.

Canberra, ACT or Melbourne, VIC

Essential Tasks:

Conduct risk-based investigations and complex compliance reviews.
n
Analyse financial, data and intelligence sources to identify risks and non-compliance.
n
Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, correspondence and advice for decision-makers.
n
Provide guidance and support to junior staff while contributing to policy and process improvement.
n
n
Key Criteria:
n
n
Experience supporting or leading financial audits,
assurance or comparable compliance activities.
n
Strong analytical capability to interpret complex information and identify issues or risks.
n
Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement and deliver quality outcomes under pressure.
