Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring profitable operations of the retail store.
They oversee staff, inventory, sales strategies, and operational policies and procedures to create a positive shopping experience for customers while achieving business goals.
Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and supervise store staff
Develop and implement sales strategies
Monitor and manage store inventory levels
Create and implement store policies and procedures
Provide excellent customer service
Manage store displays and merchandising
Maintain the store premises
Analyze sales and other performance metrics
Provide reports to management
Reconcile sales and handle cash
Ensure staff adherence to company policies and standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration,



retail management or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in retail store management
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task
Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
Strong customer-service orientation
Computer literacy and familiarity with retail technology
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
Valuable financial acumen with experience in cash handling and reconciliation
Availability to work flexible hours when needed
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing the retail industry.
