**About the Opportunity**We are seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents while providing kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef.
This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care.
**Key Responsibilities*** Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team* Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents* Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control* Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required* Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards**To be successful in this role,



you will have:*** Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher* A minimum of one year's experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred)* Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable)* Experience preparing texture-modified meals (advantageous)* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues**Mandatory for compliance*** Willingness to apply for a National Police Check* Australian Permanent Resident* Management references**What we offer:*** ## Plenty of career progression opportunities - ongoing training* ## Friendly team and great culture.
