You'll steady the finance function, lead it through due diligence, and hand over cleanly when the sale completes or a permanent CFO starts.
The business has around 300 staff and a finance team of eight.The previous CFO has moved on and the shareholders want an experienced, calm pair of hands.
Discretion matters: most of the business doesn't yet know a sale is planned.
