We're looking for a Youth Pastor to lead and grow our youth ministry at Newlife Robina.
This isn't just about running Friday nights.
It's about knowing the youth at our church by name and walking alongside them through the highs and lows of their high school years.
It is an chance to create a youth community where they genuinely know they belong.
We're looking for someone who can bring energy, vision and leadership and build strong relationships with our youth.
What will you be doing?
You'll lead our youth ministry across Friday nights, Sunday Mornings, camps and other key moments throughout the year.
Lead and disciple high school students and help them grow in their faith.
Build, encourage and equip a great team of youth volunteers.
Create engaging, contemporary Friday night gatherings where teenagers can have fun, ask questions and encounter Jesus.
Teach the Bible and communicate the Christian faith in ways that connect with young people.
Develop opportunities for young people to discover their gifts and get involved in church life.
Build connections with local high schools and help create opportunities for students to hear and respond to the gospel.
Lead an annual youth camp and other youth events.
Provide pastoral care and support to young people, families and volunteers.




Work alongside our wider pastoral and Generations teams.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who understands young people and can build genuine connection with them.
Someone who can lead but be just as comfortable sitting down with a highschooler and having a genuine conversation about what's going on in their life.
Someone who can inspire volunteers, communicate the Bible with authenticity and create a culture where young people want to show up, get involved and grow.
You may already be working in youth ministry or pastoral ministry.
You may have been leading a youth group or volunteer team for years.
Or you may be coming from another setting where you've developed strong leadership, relational and pastoral skills.
What matters most is your character, your maturity, your leadership and your heart for young people and Jesus.
