About the Role:
Canberra Health Services is seeking a Work Health and Safety Advisor to support the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce across a diverse healthcare environment.
Working closely with managers and workers, you will provide expert WHS advice, support the identification and management of workplace risks, coordinate incident reporting and analysis, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of WHS systems, policies and procedures.
You will also contribute to the CHS Work Health and Safety Management System, support legislative and accreditation requirements, and provide WHS insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
You will have the opportunity to represent WHS at relevant committees and forums and develop and deliver WHS education and training to build capability and promote a strong safety culture across the organisation.
Joining the Work Health and Safety Unit provides an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to creating a safe, healthy and accountable workplace and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare to the Canberra community.
