A bit about us
GC Pest Control has grown significantly over the years, but one thing we've worked very hard not to lose is our culture.
We have a genuinely close team of technicians, office staff and managers who help each other out, have a laugh and take pride in doing good work.
We don't want people to simply turn up, get through their jobs and go home feeling like another number.
We want people who want to be part of the team.
Our reputation with our customers is something we're incredibly proud of too.
We have more than 1,800 five-star Google reviews, and GC Pest Control is the
Pest Manager of the Year **** National Award Winner
.
That reputation has been built by the people in our team.
What you'll get with us
A great team around you
This is probably the biggest one.
We have a good group of people who enjoy working together and actually want to see each other succeed.
Uncapped commissions

We believe great technicians should have the opportunity to earn more.
You'll receive commissions on sales, along with additional bonus and reward opportunities.
Sign-on bonus
A sign-on bonus is available for the right experienced candidate joining our team.
Paid training and development
Want to improve technically, become termite qualified, develop your sales skills or move into a more senior position?
We'll invest in helping you get there.
Real career progression
There are pathways beyond simply being a technician, whether your strengths are technical, termite management, leadership, training, sales or operations.
Proper technical support
You're not expected to know absolutely everything or work everything out on your own.
You'll have experienced technicians, team leaders and technical management around you when you need help.
Good equipment and systems
You'll have a fully equipped company vehicle and the right tools and technology you need to do the job properly.
Recognition for doing a good job
We notice the people who put in the effort, look after customers, help their teammates and take pride in their work.
A workplace you can actually enjoy
We work hard, but we also make time for team events, celebrations and getting everyone together outside the normal workday.
The role
Depending on your qualifications and experience, your work may include:
General residential and commercial pest control
Termite inspections
Termite treatments and management systems
Providing customers with clear, professional advice

Identifying additional pest or termite risks and recommending appropriate solutions
Completing digital reports and documentation
Maintaining your vehicle, equipment and stock to a high standard
Working with our office and technical teams to provide a genuinely great customer experience
We aren't looking for someone who just wants to race through a job list.
We want someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers and wants to be known as a positive technician.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you'll have:
A current Pest Management Licence
Termite Management qualifications, highly regarded
Previous pest control industry experience
A current driver's licence
Good communication and customer service skills
Pride in the quality of your work
A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
An interest in continuing to learn and improve
If you're already a great pest controller but haven't completed your termite qualifications yet,
don't let that stop you from applying
.
For the right person, we can help with further training and qualifications.
Thinking about making a change?
Changing employers is a big decision, especially when you're already established in the industry.
We're not going to tell you every day here is perfect.
What we can tell you is that we've put a huge amount of effort into building a business where good people are supported, rewarded and given opportunities to grow.
If you're currently working as a pest controller or termite inspector on the Gold Coast, in Brisbane or any surrounds and you're quietly wondering whether there might be something better out there, we'd be happy to have a confidential conversation.
