**Position Title:** Distribution Assistant**Location:** Bundamba**Employment:** Daytime work shift – 2 positions available - 1 x 9 months Fixed Term Employment & 1 x permanent opportunity Reporting to the Distribution Team Leader, the **Distribution Assistant** will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products from our warehouse to customers.
This role plays a crucial role in organizing, packing and shipping orders accurately and timely.
**Key responsibilities for this role include:*** Assist in the picking, packing, and labelling of products for shipment.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders before they are dispatched.
* Material handling activities including unloading of trucks and containers.
* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
* Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment activities.
* Collaborate with other team members to streamline distribution processes and improve efficiency.
* Always adhere to GMP and safety procedures and guidelines.




**The ideal candidates considered for this role are:*** Current forklift ticket is desirable.
* Recently completed high school certification; or* A seasoned Warehouse worker; or* Individuals keen to learn more about; Warehousing, Manufacturing & Distribution within the Pharmaceutical sector; or* An individual with strong administrative background proficient in using different technology and software.
**The minimum qualifications for this role are:*** Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Experience working with Microsoft suite – particularly excel is highly desirable.
* Current Forklift Ticket is preferred but not required – Viatris will cover the affiliate cost of this if not currently in possession following completion of your probationary period.
* Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
* Must be eligible to work in Australia (Australian Citizen or appropriate Visa holder)* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
