Key Responsibilities




Prepare and cook a range of high quality dishes to established standards
Take ownership of assigned kitchen sections and ensure efficient service
Maintain consistency in food quality, preparation and presentation
Work across different kitchen sections as required, including grill and wood-fired cooking
Complete daily food preparation and mise en place
Maintain a clean, organised and well managed workstation
Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Work effectively and calmly during busy service periods
Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen team members
Support the delivery of smooth and professional kitchen operations
Assist with maintaining high standards through out food service
Take part in training and continue developing professional culinary skills
Contribute positively to a respectful and team-focused workplace culture
Requirements & Eligibility
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or in a comparable qualified chef role
Relevant culinary qualifications and/or proven experience in commercial kitchens
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques and quality control
High standards of food presentation and attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen safety practices
Experience with grill or wood-fired cooking is advantageous but not essential
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, professional and committed to maintaining high standards
Willingness to learn, improve and develop with in a long-term kitchen workplace
