We've been part of the local community for years and have built solid relationships with generations of local patients, providing general and restorative dentistry to families across Townsville.
We're looking for a
casual Dental Assistant
to join our team, and no dental experience is necessary.
This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in dentistry, with full on-the-job training from a friendly, supportive team.

Working closely with our dentists, Practice Manager and front office team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient care and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
What your days look like:
You'll start with sterilisation, room set-up and patient care, then build up to chairside assisting as your confidence grows, with an experienced team beside you.
Over time, you'll provide chairside support across a range of general and restorative procedures while helping every patient feel comfortable and well looked after.
As a casual, you'll be offered shifts across our opening hours, so we're looking for someone who is generally available Monday to Saturday.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting dentists and clinicians chairside during procedures
Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms between appointments
Sterilising instruments and caring for dental equipment
Helping patients feel comfortable and well looked after
Pitching in with reception and admin tasks when things get busy
To succeed in the role, you will bring:

approachable manner
Clear and professional communication with patients and the team
A genuine interest in starting a career in dentistry
A reliable, positive approach and a willingness to learn
No dental experience is necessary, as full training is provided
