nJoin Lam as a Manufacturing Engineer where youu****ll play a crucial role in supporting the new product pilot production factory, virtual manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing production factory. Using your knowledge of technology and engineering principles you will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations. Youu****ll tackle technical, quality, and production challenges. Your expertise optimizing manufacturing costs and standards helps shape Lamu****s commitment to innovation and efficiency in manufacturing.n
nIn this role, you will directly contribute to resolve day-to-day assembly process issues.n
n## What youu****ll don
n * * As Shift ME to troubleshoot new or existing product problems, involving designs, materials, or processes.n
n * Perform root cause investigation and recommend corrective action for operational problems, such as material use variances, bottlenecks, fixture issues during build or manufacturing process.n
n * Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes or resolve problems and follow through resolution to reduce costs, improve product quality, and cycle time. n
n * Provide the MRB disposition for the defective/failure parts.n
n * Designs, develops, and implements safe and cost-effective complex equipment and methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing.n
n * Define process and methods for high volume manufacturing which includes operations method sheet, routing, and sequencing.n
n * Reviews and develops designs that improve product manufacturability and assembly.n
n
n## Who weu****re looking forn
n * Bacheloru****s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,



or related field with 3+ years of experience; or advanced degree with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.n
n * Able to work in shift working pattern.n
n * Skilled troubleshooting capabilities in the areas of electro/mechanical assemblies.n
n * Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.n
n * Proficient in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) with approach to structured problem-solving and decision-making.n
n * Proficient in software applications such as CAD modeling, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Product Data Modeling (PDM) systems.n
n * Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.n
n * Working knowledge in Operation Method Sheets (OMS), process planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM) Management.n
n * This is a graduate eligible role.n
n
n## Preferred qualificationsn
n * Knowledge of Semiconductor equipment (high vacuum equipment knowledge), Capital Equipment industry and its manufacturing processes.n
n * Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English.n
n * Statistical analysis skills including statistical process control and data analysis used in production setting.n
n * Knowledge in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).n
n * Proven stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders or customers in technical matters.n
n * structured problem-solving and decision-making.n
n * Proficient in software applications such as CAD modeling, or SAP.n




n * Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.n
n * Working knowledge in Operation Method Sheets (OMS), process planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM) Management.n
