An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded industrial organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. With a strong national presence and a collaborative finance team, this role offers the chance to partner closely with operational stakeholders while gaining exposure to a large, structured business environment.
Job Description n

Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting
n
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reporting
n
Partner with operational managers to analyse business performance
n
Prepare financial reports and provide commercial insights
n
Review and maintain general ledger integrity
n
Respond to day-to-day finance queries from operational stakeholders
n
Assist with audit requirements and compliance activities
n




Drive continuous improvement initiatives and challenge existing processes where appropriate
n
The Successful Applicant n
A successful Management Accountant should have:
n
n
Previous experience in a similar role within industrial environment
n
Strong month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with large data sets
n
Experience operating within a medium-to-large organisation
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or equivalent advantageous)
n
Exposure to ERP systems, ideally within a complex operating environment
n
