About the Role: n
We are currently recruiting an experienced
Fixed Plant Boilermaker
to join our client's maintenance team. This is a 7/7
FIFO from roster Perth
.
n
You will undertake fabrication, welding and repair work across fixed plant equipment and infrastructure, supporting plant reliability and safe, efficient processing operations.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
Carry out fabrication, welding and repairs on fixed plant equipment and steel structures
n
Repair and replace worn components, including chutes, hoppers, guards and wear plates
n
Support planned maintenance,



shutdown activities and breakdown repairs
n
Read and interpret technical drawings to complete fabrication and installation work
n
Inspect equipment and identify defects requiring repair
n
Work closely with mechanical fitters, operators and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities
n
Follow site isolation, permit and hot work procedures
n
Complete maintenance records and maintain a safe, tidy work area
n
To Be Successful: n
n
Cert III -
Fabrication/Boilermaker
Trade
n
Previous fixed plant maintenance experience within mining or heavy industry
n
Strong fabrication and welding skills
n
Experience working on processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors and chutes
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
A strong commitment to safety and following site procedures
n
A reliable, team-focused approach and ability to work independently
n
Willingness to undertake FIFO work in a remote mining workplace
n
