THE ROLE n
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to work within a high-performing showroom team in Melbourne.
n
Working closely with the Showroom Manager, you will play an integral role in driving sales performance, supporting the team and ensuring the showroom consistently delivers a premium customer experience.
n
This position would suit an experienced Store Leader who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
Day-to-Day n
n
Support the Showroom Manager in leading and motivating the retail team
n
Drive sales results and consistently work towards commercial targets and KPIs
n
Coach team members to improve customer service, sales capability and performance
n
Lead by example on the showroom floor and contribute to a positive, accountable team culture
n
Assist with daily showroom operations, rostering and team coordination
n
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion and productivity
n
Support the delivery of an exceptional customer journey from initial enquiry through to sale
n
Maintain high standards across showroom presentation, operations and compliance
n
Assist with implementing business initiatives and commercial strategies
n
Step into the Showroom Manager's responsibilities when required
n
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED n
n
Previous experience in a retail leadership position, ideally within premium environment
n
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver strong commercial results
n
Experience coaching, motivating and developing a retail team
n
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
n
Commercially minded with the ability to understand and act on sales and KPI performance
n
Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
n
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the front
n
Experience within furniture, homewares or another premium retail environment will be highly regarded, but is not essential
n

$75,000 - $78,000 Base + Super + Commissions
