We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused
Electrical Spotter
to join our team, working across busy civil and construction sites throughout Melbourne's western and northern suburbs.
n
n
This role is critical in ensuring safe work practices are maintained around live power infrastructure and underground assets, particularly when operating excavators and other plant equipment.
n
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
n
n
Monitor and maintain safe working distances from overhead and underground power lines
n
n
Spot and identify underground assets during excavation works
n
n
Identify and manage electrical hazards during plant operations
n
n
Communicate clearly with operators and site personnel using a radio whistle
n
n




Ensure all site safety procedures and compliance standards are followed
n
n
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
n
n
Current Electrical Spotter Licence (mandatory)
n
n
Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
n
n
Own radio whistle
n
n
Experience spotting for both power lines and underground assets
n
n
Proven experience working around heavy machinery on civil sites
n
n
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety
n
n
Dogman ticket (preferred)
n
n
n
n
